Growing from Scraps & Propagating Plants

Growing from Scraps & Propagating Plants

Thursday 22nd October | 3pm–5pm

Before you throw those kitchen scraps away, could you grow something new from them?

This practical workshop explores how everyday scraps and existing plants can be used to create new growth. We’ll look at simple ways to regrow produce, take cuttings and propagate plants without needing to spend lots of money on new seeds or plants.

It’s an ideal session for anyone interested in reducing waste, growing more sustainably or discovering just how much you can create from things you may already have at home.

Eligibility: Open to adults, children and families, particularly people without access to their own garden and those experiencing loneliness or poor mental health.
